Abstract
【解決手段】本発明はUVを放射する、Ce,Prで共活性化されたピロリン酸カルシウム燐光体を提供する。本発明の燐光体のPr活性剤は185nm放射線による励起に対する燐光体の感受性を増大させる。185nm放射線への向上した感受性は、燐光体が低圧力水銀放電によって185nmで放射される約10%UV放射線をより効率的に利用することを可能にする。

Ca2P2O7:Ce及びCa2P2O7:Ce,Pr燐光体のサンプルは以下の方法に従って準備された。
Claims (21)
- セリウム及びプラセオジムによって活性化されるピロリン酸カルシウムを含むUV放射燐光体。
- 化学式Ca(2-w-x-y-z)CexAyPrzP2O7(ここで、Aは1+の金属カチオン;wは0から約0.1の範囲;xは約0.04から約0.16の範囲;yは0から約0.25;そして、zは0から約0.06(0を除く))によって表される、請求項1に記載の燐光体。
- yがx+z−0.01からx+z+0.01の範囲である、請求項2に記載の燐光体。
- y=x+zである、請求項2に記載の燐光体。
- 燐光体のモル当り最大で約0.25モルNaの量のナトリウムを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の燐光体。
- AがNa+である、請求項2に記載の燐光体。
- yがx+z−0.01からx+z+0.01の範囲である、請求項6に記載の燐光体。
- xが約0.07から約0.12の範囲である、請求項2に記載の燐光体。
- zが0から約0.04(0を除く)の範囲である、請求項2に記載の燐光体。
- wが約0.06に等しい、請求項2に記載の燐光体。
- 化学式Ca(2-w-x-y-z)CexNayPrzP2O7(ここで、wは0から約0.1の範囲;xは約0.04から約0.16の範囲;yは0から約0.25;そして、zは0から約0.06(0を除く))によって表される、請求項1に記載の燐光体。

- 内面上の燐光体被膜を有するガラスエンベロープを備えるランプであって、前記燐光体被膜がセリウム及びプラセオジムによって活性化されたピロリン酸カルシウムを含むUV放射燐光体を含むランプ。
- 前記燐光体が化学式Ca(2-w-x-y-z)CexAyPrzP2O7(ここで、Aは1+の金属カチオン;wは0から約0.1の範囲;xは約0.04から約0.16の範囲;yは0から約0.25;そして、zは0から約0.06(0を除く))によって表される、請求項19に記載のランプ。
- 内面上の燐光体被膜を有するガラスエンベロープを備えるランプであって、前記エンベロープが気密状に封止されておりかつ水銀及び不活性ガスを含んでおり、そして前記燐光体被膜がUV放射Ca2P2O7:Ce,Pr燐光体を含むランプ。
