Claims (9)
- 主に管状の比較的剛性が高いシャフト近位部および該シャフト近位部よりも柔軟性があり該シャフト近位部の遠位端部に取り付けられるシャフト遠位部を含むシャフトと、該シャフト遠位部の遠位端部に延びる膨張可能なバルーンとを備え、前記シャフト近位部および前記シャフト遠位部は、前記バルーンの内部と液通して該バルーンに膨張圧力(inflation pressure)を与える、内部に延びるインフレーションルーメンを画定し、前記シャフト遠位部はガイドワイヤを受け入れるガイドワイヤルーメンを含み、該ガイドワイヤルーメンは、前記シャフト近位部の端部と前記バルーンとの間に位置するガイドワイヤ入口と、前記バルーンから遠位に位置して該カテーテルの外部につながるガイドワイヤ出口とを含み、柔軟性のある遷移部材が、前記シャフト近位セグメント(部位)の前記遠位端部に取り付けられて前記シャフト遠位セグメント(部位)内に延びる、バルーンカテーテルであって、
前記シャフト近位部の前記遠位端部はスカイビング加工され、前記遷移部材は、前記シャフト近位部の前記スカイビング加工された遠位端部のほぼ全体に沿って前記シャフト近位部に固定されることを特徴とする、バルーンカテーテル。 - 前記シャフト近位部の前記スカイビング加工された端部は所定の長さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材の近位端部は前記シャフト近位部の管状部内に延び、前記遷移部材の前記近位端部は、前記シャフト近位部の前記管状部の内壁に接触するとともに、前記遷移部材のより遠位に位置する部分よりも小さい断面積を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材はコアワイヤを含み、前記コアワイヤの近位端には、前記シャフト近位セグメント(部位)の前記管状部の前記内壁に面しない側(at a side across from)にノッチが設けられることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材の少なくとも遠位部分の直径が遠位方向に徐々に小さくなることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材の前記遠位部分は所定の長さを有することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材および前記シャフト近位部の前記遠位部は互いに接着されることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材は20〜30センチメートルの長さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記遷移部材は0.25〜0.35ミリメートルの最大直径を有することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
