Abstract
本発明の目的は、低温での入出力特性が優れ、エネルギー密度が高いエネルギー貯蔵デバイスとそのモジュール及びそれを用いた自動車を提供することにある。
【解決手段】
本発明は、電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域を有する正極と、電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域を有する負極と、前記正極と負極とを電気的に隔て且つ可動イオンを通過させるセパレータと、前記可動イオンを含む非プロトン性非水溶媒を有する電解液とを有し、前記正極及び負極の少なくとも一方に電荷吸脱着反応を有する領域を有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイスにある。

ここで、V0はI−Vプロットの内挿した交点で、開回路電圧に相当する。
(比較例1)
比較例1は、正極として実施例1と同じ電荷授受を介する反応を担う領域Iのみを形成し、負極には実施例1と同じ電極を作製し、実施例1と同じ電解液を用いて、従来のリチウム二次電池に相当する比較例1のリチウム二次電池を作製した。
ED7の放電容量は224mAhで、−30℃における3.65Vの出力は5.21Wになり、比較例1よりも33%も高出力となった。
Claims (17)
- 電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域を有する正極と、電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域を有する負極と、前記正極と負極とを電気的に隔て且つ可動イオンを通過させるセパレータと、前記可動イオンを含む非プロトン性非水溶媒を有する電解液とを有し、前記正極及び負極の少なくとも一方に電荷吸脱着反応を有する領域を有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1において、前記電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域は集電体に層状に形成され、前記電荷吸脱着反応を有する領域が前記電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域の表面に層状に形成されていることを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1において、前記電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域と前記電荷吸脱着反応を有する領域とは集電体表面に混合状態又は交互に形成されていることを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかにおいて、前記非水溶媒が、次の(式1)〜(式20)から選ばれる少なくとも1つの溶媒を含むことを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。

で表される燐酸エステル誘導体。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれかにおいて、前記正極は、前記電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域が、LiNixMnyCozO2(但し、x+y+z=1)、LiとCo、Ni、Mn、Feなどの遷移金属の一種又は複数種からなる複合酸化物及びLiMePO4(MeはFe、Co、Cr)で表されるオリビン構造の燐酸化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1つの電気エネルギーを貯蔵・放出する物質を有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかにおいて、前記負極は、前記電荷授受を介する反応を有する領域が、リチウムを吸蔵・放出可能な炭素質材、リチウム金属、リチウム合金、珪素、珪素酸化物、錫、錫酸化物、炭素質材とリチウム金属、リチウム合金、珪素、珪素酸化物、錫、錫酸化物の複合物から選ばれる少なくとも1つの電気エネルギーを貯蔵・放出する物質を有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかにおいて、前記電荷吸脱着反応を有する領域が、活性炭、カーボンナノチューブ、膨張黒鉛、酸化ルテニウム、酸化チタン、あるいは、活性炭とカーボンナノチューブ、膨張黒鉛、酸化ルテニウム、酸化チタンの複合物から選ばれる少なくとも一つを含むことを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかおいて、前記電解液は、LiPF6、LiAsF6、LiBF4、LiSO2CF3、LiN[SO2CF3]2、LiN[SO2CF2CF3]2、LiC[SO2CF3]3、LiC[SO2CF2CF3]2、LiB[OCOCF3]4、LiB[OCOCF2CF3]4,LiI、LiBr、LiCl、NaPF6、NaAsF6、NaBF4、NaSO2CF3、NaN[SO2CF3]2、NaN[SO2CF2CF3]2、NaC[SO2CF3]3、NaC[SO2CF2CF3]2、NaB[OCOCF3]4、NaB[OCOCF2CF3]4,NaI、NaBr、NaCl、から選ばれる少なくとも1つの溶質を有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかにおいて、前記電解液は、エチレンカーボネート(EC)、プロピレンカーボネート(PC)、ブチレンカーボネート(BC)の中から選ばれる少なくとも1つと、ジメチルカーボネート(DMC)、エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC)、ジエチルカーボネート(DEC)の中から選ばれる少なくとも一つと、LiPF6、LiBF4、LiSO2CF3、LiN[SO2CF3]2、LiN[SO2CF2CF3]2、LiC[SO2CF3]3、LiC[SO2CF2CF3]2、LiB[OCOCF3]4、LiB[OCOCF2CF3]4の少なくとも一つを有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項9において、前記電解液が、酢酸メチル(MA)、酢酸エチル(EA)、プロピオン酸メチル(MP)、プロピオン酸エチル(ME)の中から選ばれる少なくとも一つを有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項9又は10において、前記電解液が、ノナフロロブチルメチルエーテル、ノナフロロブチルエチルエーテル、ヘプタフロロシクロペンタンの中から選ばれる少なくとも一つを有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項9〜11のいずれかにおいて、前記電解液が、ビニレンカーボネート、エチレンサルファイド、プロパンスルトン、ジファニルジスルフィド、メトキシベンゼン、メトキシピリジン、ヘキサメチルシクロホスファゼンの中から選ばれる少なくとも一つを有することを特徴とするエネルギー貯蔵デバイス。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のエネルギーデバイスからなるコイン型又は円筒型を有する電池であることを特徴とする二次電池。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のエネルギーデバイスからなることを特徴とするレドックスキャパシタ。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のエネルギーデバイスが複数個直列、並列及び直並列のいずれかにて接続され、該接続によって形成される電気回路の電流及び電圧の少なくとも一方を制御する制御回路を有することを特徴とするエネルギーデバイスモジュール。
- 請求項15に記載のエネルギーデバイスモジュールが搭載され、該モジュールによって供給される電力によって駆動する電動機を具備したことを特徴とする電気自動車。
- 請求項15に記載のエネルギーデバイスモジュールが搭載され、該モジュールによって供給される電力によって駆動する電動機と内燃機関とを有することを特徴とするハイブリット自動車。
