Abstract
【解決手段】発光体5から構成されている半導体型光源1と、この発光体5からの光を発光体5の形状のままの像であってスポット配光パターンSPとして外部に出射するレンズ2と、半導体型光源1とレンズ2とを所定の相対位置関係で保持するホルダ3と、を備え、発光体5がすれ違い用配光パターンLPのカットオフラインCL1、CL2に対応する少なくとも1つの直線の辺8、10を有する。この結果、グレアを確実に防止することができ、発光体5からの光をほぼ全部有効利用することができる。

Claims (5)
- ヘッドランプから出射されるすれ違い用配光パターンに対して、スポット配光パターンを出射する車両用灯具において、
矩形の発光体から構成されている半導体型光源と、
前記矩形の発光体からの光をほぼ矩形形状の前記スポット配光パターンとして前記すれ違い用配光パターンの上位の水平カットオフラインの下方に出射するレンズと、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記半導体型光源および前記レンズをほぼ垂直軸回りにスイブルさせて前記スポット配光パターンを左右に移動させるスイブル装置を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記発光体からの出力光束を増減して前記スポット配光パターンの光度を変える調光装置を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記半導体型光源と前記レンズとの間の相対位置を変えて前記スポット配光パターンを縮小拡大させる集光装置を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用灯具。
- すれ違い用配光パターンと、スポット配光パターンと、をそれぞれ出射する車両用前照灯装置において、
前記すれ違い用配光パターンを外部に出射するヘッドランプと、
前記スポット配光パターンを外部に出射する前記の請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用灯具と、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用前照灯装置。
