Abstract
Description
Claims (24)
- 複数の編組された金属ワイヤ部材と、該金属ワイヤ部材に浸透するポリマー材料とを含む補強材層を有する長尺状シャフトを備えた血管内カテーテルであって、前記ポリマー材料は、前記金属ワイヤ部材と編み合わされている血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項1に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記カテーテル内を延びるルーメンを画成する内側ポリマー層をさらに備え、前記補強材層は該内側ポリマー層を包囲する血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項2に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層を包囲する外側ポリマー層をさらに備える血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項3に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層のポリマー材料は、前記外側ポリマー層に熱融合される血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項3に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層のポリマー材料と前記外側ポリマー層とは、熱接着可能なポリマー材料を含む血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項5に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層のポリマー材料と前記外側ポリマー層とは、同一のポリマー材料を含む血管内カテーテル。
- 複数の編み合わされた金属ワイヤ部材とポリマー部材とを含む補強材層を有する長尺状シャフトを備えた血管内カテーテルであって、前記ポリマー部材は、熱処理されて前記金属ワイヤ部材に浸透する血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記ポリマー部材の断面積は、前記金属ワイヤ部材の断面積よりも大きい血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記ポリマー部材は、前記金属ワイヤ部材を少なくとも部分的に入れ込むのに十分な合計断面積を有する血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記ポリマー部材は、前記金属ワイヤ部材を完全に入れ込むのに十分な合計断面積を有する血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記長尺状シャフトは長さと壁厚とを有し、前記ポリマー部材は、前記長尺状シャフトの長さに沿って変化する、単位長さ当たりの区分数を有し、それにより前記シャフトの壁厚を変化させる血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記長尺状シャフトは長さと硬さとを有し、前記ポリマー部材は、前記長尺状シャフトの長さに沿って変化するデュロメータ硬度(durometer)を有し、それにより前記シャフトの硬さを変化させる血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記カテーテル内を延びるルーメンを画成する内側ポリマー層をさらに備え、前記補強材層は該内側ポリマー層を包囲する血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項13に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層を包囲する外側ポリマー層をさらに備える血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項14に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層のポリマー材料は、前記外側ポリマー層に熱融合される血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項14に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層のポリマー材料と前記外側ポリマー層とは、熱接着可能なポリマー材料を含む血管内カテーテル。
- 請求項16に記載の血管内カテーテルであって、前記補強材層のポリマー材料と前記外側ポリマー層とは、同一のポリマー材料を含む血管内カテーテル。
- 複数の金属ワイヤ部材と複数のポリマー部材とを編組する工程と、該ポリマー部材を熱処理して前記金属ワイヤ部材に浸透させる工程とを含む、血管内カテーテルの製造方法。
- 請求項18に記載の血管内カテーテルの製造方法であって、前記ポリマー部材は、熱処理後に、前記金属ワイヤ部材を少なくとも部分的に入れ込むのに十分な合計断面積を有する製造方法。
- 請求項18に記載の血管内カテーテルの製造方法であって、前記ポリマー部材は、熱処理後に、前記金属ワイヤ部材を完全に入れ込むのに十分な合計断面積を有する製造方法。
- 請求項18に記載の血管内カテーテルの製造方法であって、前記ポリマー部材は、単位長さ当たりの区分数が変化するように編組され、それにより前記カテーテルの壁厚を変化させる製造方法。
- 請求項18に記載の血管内カテーテルの製造方法であって、前記ポリマー部材は、デュロメータ硬度が変化するように押出し成形されて前記カテーテルの硬さを変化させる製造方法。
- 請求項18に記載の血管内カテーテルの製造方法であって、内側ポリマー層を形成し、該内側ポリマー層上にて補強材層を編組する操作をさらに含む製造方法。
- 請求項23に記載の血管内カテーテルの製造方法であって、前記補強材層の上部に外側ポリマー層を形成する工程をさらに含む製造方法。
