Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a urine absorbing pad and a method for packing the absorbent article.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when shipping products such as disposable diapers and urine absorbing pads as absorbent articles, the absorbent articles are folded into a “C” shape in the short direction, then folded in three in the longitudinal direction, packed and shipped.
As a device for folding the absorbent article, for example, the absorbent article conveyed by a conveyor, between a pair of belts arranged at a predetermined interval, left and right facing the absorbent article, rotating A method is disclosed in which punches are arranged so as to be rotatable in opposite directions on the same surface, and a folding operation is performed by pushing in the rotary punch (for example, see Patent Document 1).
In addition, as a folding device for another absorbent article, a foldable stick that can linearly move in a direction perpendicular to the surface sheet surface of the absorbent article is attached, and the linear movement given to the foldable stick is performed. A folding device is known in which a pad-shaped product is pushed between a pair of belts by using a crease stick (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 54-116171 (Section 1, Figure 1-2)
[Patent Document 2]
JP-A-4-266360 (Section 1-18, FIG. 1-12)
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when the folding apparatus disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1 is used to fold an absorbent article 200 as shown in FIG. 4, for example, there is a problem.
That is, the pad 200 shown in FIG. 4 is provided with two left and right three-dimensional gathers 200G, 200G along both ends in the longitudinal direction. When the folding operation is performed such that the longitudinal ends are folded on the top sheet while the three-dimensional gathers 200G, 200G are formed, there is a possibility that the three-dimensional gathers 200G, 200G may be caught by the rotary punch, There is a problem that folding by a folding device using a punch cannot be performed.
Further, in the case of the folding device disclosed in Patent Document 2, even when the three-dimensional gathers 200G, 200G are formed as described above, the crease stick does not become entangled with the three-dimensional gathers 200G, 200G. , Can be folded. However, as compared with the case of using a rotating punch as disclosed in Patent Document 1, a reciprocating space is required for the fold push bar that moves linearly, so that the folding device is correspondingly enlarged and a large amount of space for equipment is required. There was a problem. This problem is particularly prominent when the length of the pad product in the longitudinal direction is long, and the folding device becomes large by the length of the reciprocating stroke of the fold push bar for folding the long product. Further, when the reciprocating stroke of the fold thrust rod becomes long, the load applied to the fold thrust rod becomes large, so that the speed of the linear movement cannot be increased, and there is a problem that productivity is reduced.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article with three-dimensional gathers that can be easily folded, a highly productive absorbent article with three-dimensional gathers, and a packaging method thereof.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, a three-dimensional gather (13) provided on a top sheet (10) along a longitudinal direction on a top sheet (10) is provided. G, G) is formed, and the absorbent article (for example, urine absorbing pad 1 or the like) is packed in a state of being folded at two or more folded portions provided along the width direction.
The gather sheet is characterized in that a folded portion (for example, the longitudinal fixing portions 133 and 134) is fixed to the top sheet.
[0007]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the three-dimensional gathers have the folded portions fixed to the topsheet, so that they are arranged facing each other at a predetermined interval, and rotate in opposite directions on substantially the same plane. Even if the absorbent article is arranged between a pair of rotating punches and the folding device is pressed into the folding sheet to fold the absorbent article toward the top sheet side, the gather sheet can be smoothly caught on the rotating punch. It can be carried out. Therefore, it is possible to perform a folding operation using a folding device provided with a rotary punch without using a folding device provided with a crease stick, which is conventionally used when a three-dimensional gather is formed in a folded portion. As a result, productivity can be improved.
[0008]
The invention according to claim 2 is the absorbent article according to claim 1,
The folded portion is one-third and two-thirds of the length of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction, or is located on the end side in the longitudinal direction.
[0009]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the same effect as that of the first aspect can be obtained. In particular, the folded portion has a length of three minutes of the longitudinal length of the absorbent article. At one-thirds and two-thirds of the length of the absorbent article, or three-dimensional gathers, the three-dimensional gathers are formed in the central part of the absorbent article to sufficiently prevent lateral leakage of the crotch part. In addition to the above, the folding operation can be performed by the folding device having the rotating punch, so that it is possible to provide a highly productive absorbent article with sufficient lateral leakage prevention function by three-dimensional gathers. .
[0010]
The invention according to claim 3 is the absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
The longitudinal length of the absorbent article is 450 mm or more.
[0011]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the length of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction is 450 mm or more, so that urine flowing in the longitudinal direction of the product can be particularly firmly received. It has the same effect as the absorbent article described.
[0012]
The invention according to claim 4 is arranged such that when the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 3 is packed, the absorbent article is arranged to face each other at a predetermined interval, and to face each other on substantially the same plane. Arrange the absorbent article between a pair of rotating rotary punches,
By rotating the rotating punch without pushing the absorbent article in the width direction and pushing the rotating punch from the top sheet side to the folded portion, the absorbent article is folded toward the top sheet side. I do.
[0013]
According to the invention as set forth in claim 4, the absorption according to claim 1 or 2, between a pair of rotary punches which are arranged to face each other at a predetermined interval and rotate in opposite directions on substantially the same plane. The absorbent article is folded to the top sheet side by disposing the absorbent article, rotating the rotary punch without folding the absorbent article in the width direction, and pushing the rotary punch from the top sheet side to the folded portion. Can be folded without getting caught on the gather sheet, and the folding work can be performed smoothly. Accordingly, it is possible to realize that the operation is performed more quickly than the folding operation using the crease stick, and the productivity can be improved.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
In the present embodiment, a description will be given below as an example of an absorbent article, particularly, a urine absorbing pad 1 used by attaching to an adult disposable paper diaper or the like.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the urine absorbing pad 1 includes a surface sheet 10 made of a liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric or the like provided on the contact surface side with the human body, and a liquid-impermeable pad provided on the outside at the time of mounting. It mainly includes a back sheet 11, an absorber 12 interposed between the top sheet 10 and the back sheet 11, and gather sheets 13 provided on both sides of the absorber 12.
Here, the inside refers to the center side in the width direction of the urine absorbing pad 1, and the outside refers to the side away from the center in the width direction of the urine absorbing pad 1.
[0016]
The urine absorbing pad 1 has an abdominal portion 14 at one end and a dorsal portion 15 at the other end so as to cover the crotch of the human body from the abdomen to the back. A crotch 16 is formed between the abdomen 14 and the back 15.
[0017]
The topsheet 10 is formed of a liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric, film, or the like.
The back sheet 11 is formed of a liquid-impermeable film made of polyethylene or the like, or a non-woven fabric bonded to a gas-permeable liquid-impermeable film.
The back sheet 11 is formed larger than the top sheet 10, and is bonded to the gather sheet 13 at a portion formed larger than the top sheet 10. The back sheet 11 may be a liquid-permeable sheet.
[0018]
The top sheet 10 and the back sheet 11 extend around the absorber 12, and extend around the absorber 12 at the abdominal part 14, the back part 15, and the side of the crotch 16. The parts are fixed to each other by a hot melt adhesive or the like.
[0019]
The absorbent body 12 absorbs water-like components such as urine as a bodily fluid when the urine absorbing pad 1 is used, and includes an absorbent material such as cotton or pulp, a sheet-like base material such as fiber or film, It is formed in combination with a superabsorbent resin. The absorber 12 is formed to have a length extending from the abdominal part 15 to the dorsal part 16.
[0020]
The gather sheet 13 extends from the longitudinal edge 141 of the abdominal portion 14 to the longitudinal edge 151 of the dorsal portion 15 on both sides in the width direction sandwiching the central portion 12a of the absorber 12 on the top sheet 10 side. It is arranged over almost the entire area.
As shown in FIG. 2, which is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA ′ of FIG. 1, the outer portions of the gather sheets 13, 13 in the width direction have front ends that are larger than the top sheet 10 of the back sheet 11. It is fixed to the surface on the side of the sheet 10 with a hot melt adhesive or the like, is folded twice along the longitudinal direction of the urine absorbing pad 1, and wraps around the topsheet 10 on the side of the absorber 12, so that the gathers The other ends of the sheets 13, 13 are fixed to the upper surface of the topsheet 10. The inner portion in the width direction of the gather sheet 13 is not fixed to the top sheet 10 but is a free end 131.
[0021]
Inside the free end portion 131 in the width direction of the gather sheet 13, a thread rubber 13 a as an elastic member is provided substantially in parallel in the longitudinal direction along the longitudinal direction of the gather sheet 13. With the thread rubber 13a, the free end 131 of the gather sheet 13 from the fixing portion 132 fixed on the top sheet 10 rises upward from the top sheet 10 to form three-dimensional gathers G, G. The three-dimensional gathers G, G are elastically deformed according to the body shape of the wearer and have a structure that easily fits the wearer. When the urine absorbing pad 1 is used, the free end portion 131 is moved to the crotch of the wearer. The urine collecting pad 1 is separated from the outside and the inside of the urine collecting pad 1 so as to be pressed against the urine collecting pad 1 to prevent the urine and the like from leaking from the side of the urine collecting pad 1 to the outside, and the urine and the like are absorbed by the absorber 12. In the meantime, it has a role to form a space on the topsheet 10 for retaining on the urine absorbing pad 1.
[0022]
As shown in FIG. 3, the free end portion 131 is provided at longitudinal fixing portions 133 and 134 corresponding to one third of the abdominal edge 141 and the back edge 151, which are both ends in the longitudinal direction. , Which are fixed on the topsheet 10 in a prone state. That is, the three-dimensional gathers G, G are formed only between the longitudinal fixing portions 133 and 134 in the longitudinal direction.
[0023]
The length of the urine collecting pad 1 in the longitudinal direction is 450 mm or more, and urine flowing in the longitudinal direction of the product can be firmly received.
[0024]
In the folding process of the urine absorbing pad 1, the rotary punch of the folding device comes into contact with the longitudinal fixing portions 133 and 134, whereby the both ends on the abdominal side and the back side are folded inward on the top sheet 10, and are trifolded. Is formed.
Therefore, at the time of the above-mentioned three-fold folding work, the work can be performed without the rotating punch of the folding device catching on the three-dimensional gathers G, G.
Although the three-dimensional gathers G, G are formed only between the longitudinal fixing portions 133, 134 in the longitudinal direction, the longitudinal fixing portions 133, 134 are pressed against the abdomen or the buttocks at the time of wearing. In the range of the formed three-dimensional gathers G, G, the lateral leakage of the crotch part 16 can be sufficiently prevented. Therefore, even if the length of the three-dimensional gathers G, G is shortened due to the fixation of the longitudinal fixing portions 133, 134, the lateral leakage function is not reduced as compared with the conventional longer three-dimensional gathers G, G. Absent.
In addition, since the fixing work of the longitudinal fixing portions 133 and 134 is easy, an increase in manufacturing cost, labor and the like can be reduced.
[0025]
Next, a folding step for folding the urine absorbing pad 1 configured as described above into three parts will be described below.
[0026]
The urine absorbing pad 1 is manufactured by cutting a plurality of continuous units in the longitudinal direction in the width direction at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction.
Specifically, the absorber 12 is placed between a band-shaped top sheet base (not shown) constituting the top sheet 10 and a band-shaped back sheet base (not shown) constituting the back sheet 11. Intervene at intervals.
Further, gather sheet substrates (not shown) constituting the gather sheets 13 and 13 are provided on both sides in the width direction of the absorbent body 12 with the central portion 12a therebetween. The urine absorbing pad 1 is fixed to the upper surface of the topsheet 10 so as to be double-folded along the longitudinal direction of the urine absorbing pad 1 so as to wrap around the topsheet base material on the side of the absorber 12. At this time, the inner portion in the width direction of the gather sheet base is not fixed to the top sheet base and is in a free end state.
[0027]
Next, a thread rubber 13a, which is an elastic member, is interposed along the longitudinal direction of the gather sheet base material with a predetermined tension applied to the inside of the width direction front end portion of the gather sheet base material. In addition, the gather sheet base is fixed together with the thread rubber 13a at a portion corresponding to the crotch 16 of the urine absorbing pad 1.
[0028]
Next, the top sheet substrate, the back sheet substrate, and the gather sheet substrate are fixed with a hot melt adhesive or the like along the outer periphery of the absorber 12. At this time, a fixing step is performed so as not to fix the hole as the thread rubber 13a passed through the gather sheet base material or to prevent the contraction movement of the thread rubber 13a.
Then, the individual urine absorbing pads 1 are manufactured by cutting in the width direction between the absorbers 12.
Here, when the thread rubber 13a is cut, the tension of the thread rubber 13a is released, so that the free end of the gather sheet 13 fixed on the top sheet 10 rises upward from the top sheet 10, and the three-dimensional Gathers G, G are formed.
The order of the step of fixing the gather sheet, the step of fixing the thread rubber 13a in the crotch part 16, and the like are not limited to the above.
[0029]
The urine absorbing pads 1 on which the three-dimensional gathers G, G are formed by the manufacturing method as described above are transferred by a conveyor, and are disposed between a pair of belts arranged at a predetermined interval. A pair of rotary punches, which are disposed at right and left opposing positions and rotate in opposite directions on substantially the same plane, are gathered at one-third and two-third positions in the longitudinal direction of the urine absorbing pad 1. A folding operation is performed in which the sheet 13 is pushed into the front sheet side at the longitudinal fixing portions 133 and 134 so that the sheet 13 is folded in three.
[0030]
As described above, according to the urine absorbing pad 1 according to the present embodiment, the three-dimensional gathers G, G provided on the topsheet 10 are fixed by one-third of the fixed portions 133, 134 from both ends in the longitudinal direction. Since the three-dimensional gathers G, G are exposed on the folding surface, the rotary punch of the folding device is fixed to the three-dimensional gathers G, G when the three-dimensional gathers G, G are exposed on the folding surface. There is no catch. Therefore, a sheet-shaped product such as the urine absorbing pad 1 can be efficiently folded, so that the folding operation using the rotary punch can be performed, thereby improving the productivity.
[0031]
Further, in the conventional urine absorbing pad 1, since only the portion of the free end 131 of the gather sheets 13, 13 which comes into contact with the rotary punch is fixed, there is no need to go through a complicated manufacturing process, and the manufacturing cost, labor and other burdens are increased. Requires less.
Further, even if the length of the three-dimensional gathers G, G is shortened, the effect of preventing side leakage does not decrease, so that the productivity is improved without lowering the function as compared with the conventional product, which is very useful. It is.
[0032]
The above-described embodiment is merely an example of the present invention, and can be appropriately modified. For example, the shape, the width direction, and the length in the longitudinal direction of the urine absorbing pad 1 are not limited.
[0033]
Moreover, although the description has been made using the urine absorbing pad 1 which is an example of the absorbent article of the present invention, any absorbent article such as a disposable paper diaper may be used.
[0034]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the invention, since the three-dimensional gathers have the folded portions fixed to the topsheet, the three-dimensional gathers are arranged to face each other at a predetermined interval, and rotate in opposite directions on substantially the same plane. Between the rotating punches, the absorbent article is arranged and the folding device pushes the rotating punch from the top sheet side to fold the absorbent article to the top sheet side, so that the gather sheet does not catch on the rotating punch. It can be done smoothly. Therefore, it is possible to perform a folding operation using a folding device provided with a rotary punch without using a folding device provided with a crease stick, which is conventionally used when a three-dimensional gather is formed in a folded portion. As a result, productivity can be improved.
[0035]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the same effect as that of the first aspect of the invention can be obtained, and in particular, the folded portion is one third of the longitudinal length of the absorbent article. And the two-thirds position, the three-dimensional gathers are formed in the central part of the absorbent article, so that lateral leakage of the crotch part can be sufficiently prevented, and the folding with the rotary punch is provided. Since the folding operation can be performed by a machine, it is possible to provide an absorbent article having high productivity while sufficiently providing a function of preventing lateral leakage by three-dimensional gathers.
[0036]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, since the length of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction is 450 mm or more, urine flowing in the longitudinal direction of the product can be firmly received, and the absorbent article according to the first or second aspect can be received. It has the same effect as a sexual article.
[0037]
According to the invention as set forth in claim 4, the absorbent according to any one of claims 1 to 3, between a pair of rotary punches which are arranged to face each other at a predetermined interval and rotate in opposite directions. By arranging the articles and rotating the rotary punch without folding the absorbent article in the width direction and pushing the rotary punch from the top sheet side into the folded portion, the absorbent article is folded toward the top sheet side, so that the rotary punch is The folding work can be performed smoothly without being caught by the gather sheet. Accordingly, it is possible to realize that the operation is performed more quickly than the folding operation using the crease stick, and the productivity can be improved.
