Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 少なくとも部分的にポリマー被覆で被覆されている基材を含む物品であっ て、被覆のポリマー鎖が、重合性不飽和化合物(モノマー)の非プラズマラジカ ル重合によって得られる繰返し単位と構造が同一である繰返し単位70〜98% と、基材に対する架橋結合および/または共有結合のサイトである繰返し単位2 〜30%とからなる物品。 2. 繰返し単位の76〜98%、好ましくは82%〜98%が、モノマーの非 プラズマラジカル重合によって得られる繰返し単位と構造が同一であり、繰返し 単位の2〜24%、好ましくは2〜18%が、基材に対する架橋結合および/ま たは共有結合のサイトを表す、請求項1記載の物品。 3. 基材が、有機ポリマーまたは無機物質である、請求項1または2記載の物 品。 4. 重合性不飽和化合物(モノマー)が、ビニル化合物である、請求項1〜3 のいずれか1項記載の物品。 5. ビニル化合物が、N−ビニルピロリドン、N,N−ジメチルアクリルアミ ド、ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、メチルメタクリレート、ジメチルアミノ エチルメタクリレート、(メタ)アクリル酸、2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレー ト、ビニルピリジン、メチルビニルエーテル、エチルビニルエーテル、メトキシ エチルビニルエーテル、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート、N−アクリロイ ルモルホリンおよびそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項4記載の物品。 6. モノマーが、N−ビニルピロリドンである、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項 記載の物品。 7. ポリマー被覆を形成するために、少なくとも2種のモノマーが使用されて いる、請求項1記載の物品。 8. ポリマー被覆を形成するために、さらに架橋性モノマーが使用されている 、請求項1記載の物品。 9. ポリマー被覆が、少なくとも2種の重合性不飽和化合物を、場合によって 架橋性モノマーとともに、順次重合させることによって製造される積層体である 、請求項1記載の物品。 10. ポリマー被覆が、厚さ1〜5,000nm である、請求項1〜9のいず れか1項記載の物品。 11. ポリマー被覆が、パターンの形態である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項 記載の物品。 12. 無機物質が、金属、セラミック材料、ガラス、ミネラルおよび黒鉛を包 含する炭素から選択される、請求項3記載の物品。 13. 基材が、有機−有機または有機−無機の複合材料である、請求項1記載 の物品。 14. 基材が、フィルム、繊維、膜、シート、管、ホース、中空繊維、カプセ ルおよび粉末から選択される成形体である、請求項1記載の物品。 15. 基材が、生物医学的材料、物品または器具である、請求項1記載の物品 。 16. 視力矯正のための眼科用器具である、請求項15記載の物品。 17. コンタクトレンズ、眼内レンズまたは水晶体角膜インプラント(人工角 膜)である、請求項16記載の物品。 18. 長時間装用コンタクトレンズである、請求項15記載の物品。 19. ポリシロキサンおよび/またはペルフルオロアルキル基を含むレンズ本 体上のポリマー被覆を含む、請求項18記載のコンタクトレンズ。 20. 被覆が、前進≦75°、後退<65°およびヒステリシス<46°の、 水との接触角として表される湿潤性を示す、請求項19記載のレンズ。 21. 前記レンズの前面および背面がそれぞれ異なるポリマーで被覆されてい る、請求項16記載のコンタクトレンズ。 22. 基材上で重合性不飽和化合物(モノマー)のアフターグロープラズマ誘 導重合を実施することを含む、請求項1〜21のいずれか1項記載の物品を調製 する方法であって、基材をプラズマ区域の外で4〜40cm 下流に配置し、モノ マー導入口をプラズマ区域の外で3〜35cm 下流に配置する方法。 23. プラズマが、直流(DC)、無線周波数(RF)またはマイクロ波(M V)プラズマである、請求項22記載の方法。 24. プラズマが、誘導結合をもつRFプラズマである、請求項22記載の方 法。 25. 周波数(RF)が13.6MHzまたは27.12MHzである、請求項22 〜24のいずれか1項記載の方法。 26. プラズマが、パルス化プラズマである、請求項22〜25のいずれか1項 記載の方法。 27. プラズマ区域から下流の基材への距離が、8〜30cm であり、最も好 ましくは10〜25cm である、請求項22〜26のいずれか1項記載の方法。 28. プラズマ区域から下流のモノマー導入口への距離が、6〜25cm であ り、最も好ましくは8〜20cm である、請求項22〜27のいずれか1項記載 の方法。 29. 転写面を生成するためのマスクとして、取り外し可能な、パターン化さ れたスクリーンを有する基材の存在において重合を実施する、請求項10記載の 物品を調製するための、請求項22〜28のいずれか1項記載の方法。 30. 請求項22〜29のいずれか1項記載の方法によって得ることができる 請求項1記載の物品。
