SUMMARY

Combined combination of desk and "top" - storage unit incorporating a foldaway bed, particularly for hotel bedroom furniture, comprising a thin parallelepipoidal case (1) based on an extended side face (2) open on the floor, dimensioned in height to effectively act from the desk and storage surface on the relative upper surface (3), enclosing a free insert (4) that can be extracted from the front consisting of a front closing panel (5), with internally associated bed base (6), reclining on wheels (12) of displacement and fulcrum provided on the lower corner edge with internal mattress retaining mesola (13).

State of the art

- In hotel rooms the space, often relatively limited, must be exploited to the maximum to reconcile dignified habitability and aesthetic decorosity with the existence of all the services and comforts of use, especially in structures of a certain stature.

- One of the main problems in furnishing hotel rooms is the insertion of an extra bed in them, to meet the contingent needs of the guests, in compliance with the above requirements.

Limits and disadvantages of the known art

- This requirement is, according to the known art, satisfied with sofas and armchair beds or with variously designed furniture-beds, but all the solutions according to the known art are relatively bulky and not very functional, also due to the positioning constraint of the bed "of luck "where the structure that encompasses it is located and due to its lack or lack of polyfunctionality.

Aims of the invention

- The main purpose of the present invention is, in this context, that of overcoming the limits and disadvantages of the prior art identified just now, or that of providing a retractable auxiliary bed structure, especially for hotel rooms and the like, suitable for providing the smallest possible size when stored and, when used, to free itself from the relative receptacle, which can also provide a plurality of further effective uses despite its reduced size.

Another object of the present invention is to achieve the preceding object by means of a structure capable of favoring as much as possible the modularity of production, assembly and relative installation.

Still another object of the present invention is to achieve the preceding objects by means of a polyvalent structure for multiple embodiments.

Still another object of the present invention is to achieve the preceding objects by means of a structure that is easy and quick to implement, which also does not involve substantial subversions of any kind, as regards the nature, conformation and the like, of the objects it is intended to equip and serve.

- A further object of the present invention is to achieve the preceding objects by means of a structure suitable for being adopted in the widest possible field of application, as well as for the needs of polyvalence and modularity of the components increasingly in force in every technological sector and in particular in that furniture furniture.

Still another object of the present invention is to achieve the preceding objects by means of a structure which allows to easily conform to the most restrictive parameters of the law in terms of safety.

Another further object of the present invention is to achieve the preceding objects by means of a simple and functional structure, safe in use and of relatively economic cost in consideration of the results achieved thereby.

Static description

of the preferred example of embodiment - With reference to these figures, and in particular to figure 1, the number 1 indicates as a whole a parallelepioidal box, made of wood or relative substitute, for example leaning against a wall in a hotel room to integrate relative furnishing with other furniture of a known type;

- the box 1 is preferably shaped with a depth as limited as possible, compatibly and at the same time with the effective performance of the functions illustrated hereinafter, and is based on an extended side face 2 open on the floor;

- the case 1 is also dimensioned in height to functionally constitute an object-holder surface on the relative upper surface 3, usually identified with the Anglo-Saxon term as "top", as well as a writing surface on it, possibly accompanied by a chair or stool (not shown) slightly higher than usual, but normally available commercially, such as those conceived in combination with bar counters or worktops of modular kitchens.

Inside the box 1 there is enclosed a free, frontally removable insert, indicated as a whole with 4, consisting of a panel 5 with relative front closure, with it internally associated with a bed base 6 (see figure 2), for example fixed there by screwing of the relative feet 7, supporting a mattress not shown;

the height of the feet 7 is preferably conceived such as to reconcile adequate elevation of the bed from the ground with a relatively reduced thickness of the box;

on the external front of the panel 5 a curb 8, preferably twinned in conformation and protrusion to the edge of the upper plane 3, protrudes above, for the entire relative longitudinal extension;

- three rollers 12, two lateral and one central, are hinged coaxially on the rod 11, so that the relative circumference protrudes around the edge of the strip 9 and on the external sides forming the edge itself (see also figure 3).

- On the internal source of the panel 5, on the other hand, near the relative lower edge and for the entire relative longitudinal extension, projects a shelf 13 (see figure 3), equipped with lateral shoulders 14, under which pivoting wheels 15 are provided, for the functions that are detailed below.

Dynamic description

of the preferred example of embodiment - Having thus completed the static description of a preferred example of embodiment of the combination of desk and "top" - object holder incorporating a retractable bed according to the present invention, as follows in fact the dynamic one passes to operate, that is the its operation:

- the box 1 can be imagined, for example, leaning against a wall of a hotel room to integrate the relative furniture with other furniture of known type; in this location, the relative upper surface 3 or "top" can easily act as a storage surface, to support television, telephone, personal belongings of customers and so on;

- the same upper surface 3 or "top" can also easily act as a writing surface, in combination with a chair or stool slightly higher than the usual one and normally available commercially. possibly accompanied by complete writing for this purpose. thus making up for the need for the usual autonomous desk in the room and making the most of the relative space.

- If necessary, the bed insert 4 can be extracted from the box 1, to be imagined equipped with a mattress not shown which, in the storage position, lies next to the bed base 6 resting on the shelf 12 between the side shoulders 13;

the extraction can take place by simple grip by the user on the upper curb 8 of the front panel 5 and relative reclining on the fulcrum constituted by the coaxial wheels 12, until it is deposited on the floor, where the prominent protrusion of the curb 8 will be conceived equal to the radius of the coaxial wheels 12, so as to keep the panel 5 itself flat, and the latter are easily able to support the weight of the user's body, being pivoted in the rod 11 which meets the entire longitudinal extension of the panel 5 itself .

- The reclining of the bed insert 4 can take place near the box 1 or within it but, where necessary or opportunities require it, the bed insert 4 itself can be easily moved above the floor of the room in a vertical position on the wheels. coaxial 12 and pivoting wheels 15, to be reclined for use wherever you want.

Implementation alternatives

- Obviously, in alternative embodiments, still falling within the concept of innovation underlying the example of embodiment illustrated above and claimed below, the combination of writing desk and "top" for objects incorporating a retractable bed according to the present invention can be materialized with technical equivalents and mechanical, or accompanied by further supplementary measures:

in particular, the structure can be equipped with a mirror surmounting the top or "top";

the structure itself can also be equipped with drawers higher than the storage compartment of the bed insert, in this development it can become a "bedside table" concept, possibly increasing the relative dimensions in depth.

Advantages of the invention

- As is evident from the above detailed description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment and from the reference also made above to alternative embodiments, the object of the present invention offers the advantages corresponding to the intended purposes and others besides:

- in fact, it integrates a retractable auxiliary bed structure, especially for hotel rooms and the like, designed to provide as little space as possible when stored and, when used, to free itself from the relative receptacle, which also provides a plurality of further effective uses, despite its reduced size, eliminating the need for specific purpose furniture and thus making the most of the relative space; hence the commercial name that will be adopted of "scritopletto", abbreviation of desk, "top" and bed.

Scope of the protection invoked

Having thus described the invention with reference to a preferred embodiment, it will be obvious to want to protect all the further embodiments which achieve equal utility by using the same innovative concept as practicable by a person skilled in the art; by this it is meant, both in the foregoing description and in the following claims, to protect all the constructive forms and variants that fall within the spirit and purposes of the invention itself.

Claims (1)

CLAIMS 1) Mobile bed particularly for hotel rooms, characterized by the fact that it comprises a parallelepipoidal case (1) based on an extended side face (2) open on the floor dimensioned in height to act as a desk and storage surface on the relative upper surface (3) enclosing free insert (4) removable from the front consisting of a front closing panel (5) with internally associated bed base (6) reclining on transfer wheels (12) and associated fulcrum at the relative lower edge. Bed furniture according to the previous claim characterized by the fact of comprising a parallelepioidal box (1) based on a relative extended side face (2) open on the floor dimensioned in height to constitute a writing surface and object holder on the relative upper surface (3) enclosing an insert free extractable (4) consisting of a panel (5) with relative front infill with an internally associated bed base (6) on the external front of which a strip (9) protrudes below for the entire relative longitudinal extension with an imprisoning median continuity solution a longitudinal metal rod (11) on which three transfer and fulcrum wheels (12) are coaxially hinged. 3) Furniture-bed according to the preceding claims, characterized in that said strip (9) captures said longitudinal metal rod (11) in a hemicylindrical seat (10) formed within the relative thickness against the surface of said panel (5). 4) Furniture-bed according to the preceding claims, characterized in that on the external front of said panel (5) protrudes above a grip and support curb (8). 5) Furniture-bed according to the preceding claim, characterized in that said curb (8) extends longitudinally for the entire extension of said panel (5) and is twinned in conformation and protrusion to the edge of said upper surface (3) of said case (1). 6) Furniture-bed according to the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that on the internal source of said panel (5) a shelf (13) equipped with lateral shoulders (14) for holding the mattress protrudes near the relative lower edge 7) Bed furniture according to the preceding claim, characterized in that pivoting wheels (15) are provided under said shelf (13). 8) Furniture-bed according to the preceding claims characterized by the fact that said net (6) is fixed internally to said panel {5) by screwing the relative feet (7) 9) Bed furniture according to the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that the height of said feet (7) of said bed base (6) is designed such as to reconcile adequate elevation of the bed from the ground with a relatively reduced thickness of said box (1) of relative containment. 10) Bed furniture according to the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said box (1) and said panel (5) with relative front infill are made of wood or relative substitute and in any case colored, shaped and decorated in combination or not with the furniture to be furniture they are associated with. 11) Bed furniture according to the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said box (1) is preferably dimensioned with as low a depth as possible compatibly and at the same time with the effective performance of its functions. 12) Movable bed according to the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said box (1) is equipped with a seat having an appropriate height for the relative dimensions. 13) Furniture-bed according to the preceding claims, characterized in that it is structured to be placed close to walls or isolated from the walls themselves and in any case in any effective location. 14) Bed furniture according to the preceding claims, characterized in that it is in any case combined with other furniture furniture. 15) Bed furniture particularly for hotel rooms according to the preceding claims and substantially as described and illustrated in the attached drawings and for the purposes specified above.
