Description

The present invention relates to a special container in any material suitable for the purpose, preferably in cardboard, essentially a box obtained by punching sheet material, containing inside, conveniently positioned, a bakery product, especially a pizza, which is consumable. by the user in the same container without danger of staining.

A multiplicity of box-shaped containers obtained starting from cardboard blanks and the like, to contain various types of products are known. The blank is generally obtained from a sheet of cardboard and the like on which suitable folding and cutting lines define the quadrangular faces and sides, intended to form the opposite walls of the container. There are often special fracture lines, particularly on one side and in the upper portion of the container.

There are also known boxes, however shaped, containing pizzas and more generally flat baked products.

As far as the applicant is aware, these boxes do not offer ease of use especially if they are used as a tray for the consumption of pizza or a similar bakery product.

Ease of use which assumes great importance in these objects, above all as an attraction for the user and therefore as a commercial value that justifies the relentless search for solutions, including improvements to existing technical solutions. In fact, the difficulties that consumers of pizza encounter when consuming it with portions and sauces that splash out of the plate or the container itself, ending up on the consumer's clothes or on the table or floor of any place of consumption, for example a car; this is primarily due to the particular composition of the pizza which, especially after adequate cooking, makes it resistant to cutting.

The aim of the present invention is to provide, therefore, a container which produces, with extremely simple means, those functional characteristics which can effectively meet the foreseen requirements.

Another purpose is to create a device that can be manufactured at low cost with the usual equipment and systems, which is light and robust and with good aesthetic characteristics and which can be formed, in its three-dimensional form, starting from a flat monobloc blank comprising panels and flaps. prepared for bending and shearing operations.

In particular, the main purpose of the following invention is to provide a container for pizza and more generally flat geometry oven products, which has the advantage, once the box is opened, of a certain ease of use, since the user only has to reach with your hands the said product or pizza to divide it into portions, and consume it if necessary using special elements detachable from the lid, without fear of staining.

The tasks and purposes mentioned above and others that will be better highlighted later are achieved by a container preferably of cardboard, cardboard, plastic or metal laminate or any other sheet material suitable for use, obtained in any three-dimensional form by means of operations for folding panels and flaps forming a starting monoblock flat blank, suitable for housing and supporting a pizza or other flat-geometry oven product, characterized by the fact that once the container is opened, the pizza can be eaten easily without getting dirty by using the lid as a kind of napkin or protective screen and any detachable elements integrated into the lid as pizza-picking tools.

The blank as shown in the figures comprises a pre-folded sheet of essentially rectangular shape and elements protruding from the sheet by means of the same die-cutting, in which horizontal and vertical walls are defined articulated along pre-formed fold lines, intended to form the four edges of the aforementioned walls vertical sides of the container, front (1), rear (2), and sides (3) with their respective fold lines. At the ends of each of the vertical sides there are other protrusions which identify trapezoidal appendages (4) which anchor by interlocking, gluing or simply overlapping said front and rear vertical faces or walls to the right and left side walls of the box; said vertical, lateral and front faces, each continue with rectangular appendages or flaps forming flaps or flaps (5) connected by a pre-drawn fold, and are suitable for forming the closure of the upper part of the container, in fact being foldable they are capable of assuming a configuration of use in which the walls of said fins are arranged horizontally and parallel to the bottom wall (6) which acts as a support base for the pizza. The base wall (6), the side walls and the sides which are articulated at the edges of the base wall along preformed folding lines, constitute a tray (8) for containing the pizza.

The lid (7) has on its surface, in addition to straight lines or creases leading to the bending, also suitably curved lines or notches.

In particular, it is possible to provide the cover (7) on its surface, in correspondence with the free front side, with any blanking line in any case shaped and able to obtain a cutout and take-away elements in any case shaped, square, rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular, semi-elliptical, heart, etc. which can be used according to the general idea and teachings of the present invention.

A preferred shape of the blanking line on the lid (7) is the bell-shaped one (9) ending with a rectangular flap divided by a folding line (10) to form two fins, the first constituting a gripping flap (12), to facilitate the removal of the removable element (11) and the second flap (13) useful as a retention element for the pizza. In other words, the flap (13) in collaboration with the flap (12) serves to facilitate the picking up and gripping of a portion of pizza while ensuring comfort and hygiene, because it avoids touching the pizza portions with the hands. and therefore you do not get dirty or burned, which happens instead when using common table napkins. It is remarkable that the element (11) once detached from the lid (7) constitutes a tool of grip and support for a portion of pizza or another similar baked product.

Once removed, the tear-off element (11) forms a window (14) on the lid; in any case shaped but preferably according to a flat geometry similar to a bell, in fact an opening thus obtained is very satisfactory, since it easily allows the correct positioning of the lid (7) on the chest and at the same time adapting ergonomically to the neck of a user. consumption of the pizza, also facilitated by the fins (15) which, once folded along the fold lines (16), can rest on the user's shoulders.

The presence on the lid of this conformation allows the pizza to be easily removed from the container even with the aid of the integrated pizza-picking tools (11) and is suitable to support the pizza during consumption operations and act as a screen for any projections. of sauces or other.

In another preferred embodiment, the container is made in a rectangular shape and the blanking lines are arranged on the front side and on the two lateral sides of the lid, both to meet the needs of containing pizzas or other similar, elongated-shaped bakery products. larger dimensions, both to allow more users of pizza consumers to make use of the pizza-picking tools. The lid is optionally provided with aeration holes (17) preferably four in number. Said holes are also present on the vertical wall (2).

The surface conformation of the container, in its entirety, allows the printing of printed messages and illustrations, so that by the user it is easy to use, in full compliance with the purchasing and consumption habits of the public. Said device according to the present invention has the necessary characteristics of robustness in the face of the stresses that the elements are subjected to during normal use and therefore can offer the widest guarantees of reliability and safety in use, it is easily obtainable by using elements and materials commonly available on the market therefore it is competitive from an economic point of view.

The most preferred and used dimensions of the punches are listed in the attached table I which is an integral part of this description.

From what has been described and illustrated above, it can be seen that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects. All what has been said with reference to pizza also applies to any other food having similar shape and characteristics. All the details may be replaced by other technically equivalent elements, in practice the materials used, as well as the adjacent dimensions and shapes may be any according to requirements.
