Abstract

The device of the invention operates on packs (10) of tiles (9) arranged on a rest plane (5) and packaged with a border (10a) which wraps around the edges of the pack (10), leaving the central parts (10c) of top and bottom surfaces of the pack free. The device comprises a station (1) which comprises: a raising device (2) which vertically moves the pack (10) on the rest plane (5); a striker element (3) arranged above the rest plane (5); a hooking device (6) for hooking on to an internal edge (10b) of the border (10a) and dragging the internal edge (10a) away from the pack (10) of tiles (9); gripping organs (4) for holding the border (10a) when it is being removed from the pack (10). <IMAGE>
