This present invention refers to improved, highly effective fabric softening compounds that utilize, on the one hand, a compound

fabric softener? for..cationic fabrics or a mixture of

softening effect on laundry materials, and the process for the preparation and use of such compositions. The unique and synergistic effect of the combination of the cationic compound and the sulfur
