Con riferimento alla tav. 1, fig. 3, ognuna delle 4 ruote (2, 3, 4, 5) possiede internamente lo statore (40, 41, 42, 43) composto da tanti avvolgimenti atti a creare la variazione di velocità mediante il quadro di comando; i rotori esterni (6, 7, 8, 9) pertanto, sono dotati di velocità variabile; per non danneggiare i delicati avvolgimenti rotorico e statorico, fra i motori elettrici così composti ed i pneumatici (2, 3, 4, 5) sono inseriti gli anelli in elastomero (10, 11, 12, 13) interrotti dai setti inclinati (50, 51, 52, 53), aventi la duplice funzione di eliminare le risonanze a causa della risposta asimmetrica, e di assegnare una spinta propulsiva ad ogni protuberanza delle asperità del terreno.
