Abstract

A multiple particle controlled release formulation for the oral administration of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs in which the particles in the formulation comprise a therapeutically effective quantity of the drug and a combination of substances which permit modified release of the drug so as to obtain administration to the patient in a single daily dose with improved in vivo performance and with ease of preparation in the form of small tablets is described.
