Abstract

Una cartuccia filtro (23) comprende una parete (24) formata di un materiale poroso ed elettricamente conduttivo. Due elettrodi di opposta polarità (29, 31) sono collegati con due porzioni (32, 33) della parete (24), le quali sono disposte in posizione reciproca tale che, fornendo energia elettrica ai due elettrodi (29, 31), si provoca un passaggio di corrente lungo una zona oblunga (36) della parete (24) stessa, determinando la combustione dei prodotti residui della combustione dei gas presenti in tale zona (36), ed innescando così la rigenerazione della cartuccia (23). Il materiale poroso è preferibilmente formato da fibre o polveri metalliche parzialmente sinterizzate e/o catalizzate.(Figure 2 e 3)
