Abstract

La presente invenzione si riferisce a un nuovo materiale spugnoso essenzialmente costituito da acido ialuronico o suoi derivati. Le caratteristiche delle nuove preparazioni farmaceutiche sono di garantire concentrazioni elevate di principio attivo per un periodo di tempo prolungato, sfruttando le caratteristiche di lento rilascio del principio attivo.Le nuove preparazioni farmaceutiche possono essere vantaggiosamente utilizzate in tutte le numerose situazioni di pratica microchirurgica (in particolare a carico dell'orecchio o in odontostomatologia) in cui sia necessario l'uso di una sostanza metabolizzabile dall'organismo ed avente la capacità di facilitare l'attecchimento dei lembi, la riepitelizzazione di mucose, la stabilizzazione di innesti e il riempimento di cavità.Di particolare rilevanza e utilità è lo specifico impiego delle nuove preparazioni farmaceutiche nelle svariate patologie dell'orecchio e nella pratica di microchirurgia otologica, otoneurochirurgica e odontostomatologica, quali ad esempio la riparazione delle perforazioni timpaniche.
