Abstract

Secondo l'invenzione si realizza un essicatoio sottovuoto, particolarmente adatto per l'asciugatura di pelli, in cui la camera di evaporazione è continua ed è limitata fra un tappeto mobile sul quale sono distese le pelli da asciugare ed un controtappeto disposto a distanza ravvicinata dal tappeto mobile, tra i quali è interposto almeno un tappeto intermedio che mantiene le pelli da asciugare aderenti al tappeto mobile. Ciascun tappeto intermedio, che è formato da una pluralità di spirali unite una all'altra senza soluzione di continuità tramite perni, definisce il volume della camera di evaporazione che è formato essenzialmente dal volume libero fra le spirali che lo costituiscono. Sono previsti mezzi per la realizzazione del vuoto all'interno della camera di evaporazione e per l'estrazione della condensa dalla camera di evaporazione stessa.
