Description

SPECIFICATION This invention relates to a dishwasher machine designed, namely, to pieces of small sizes, such as glasses, cups, small spoons, saucers and similar, said machine offering several and important practical advantages with regard to all the embodiments known on the market for above aim.
Several types of this kind of machines has been developped, on the ground over all of a same constructive and functional principle, but all the usual embodiments offer drawbacks, in particular because of a poor potential of the washing and rinsing liquid, complicated means for ducting and draining and the rest.
Essentially the machine according to the invention is constituted by a parallelepipedal box provided with the proper driving and controlling means and possessing an access opening combined with a gate to introduce the cleaning solution and to place and extract the small dishes (glasses, cups and the rest) with the assistance of related basket, sliding on proper guides, the same general box showing an electricity inlet, a water ingress from the system , an inlet for the rinsing product and a mouth of drain tube, the inside of said box being divided into two compartments by a cross wall that, at same time, acts as a bottom of the liquid collecting basin, in the lower compartment there is an heating boiler, an electrovalve inserted between it and the water ingress from the system, a distributor of the rinsing product, a motor pump and a draining tube, while in the higher compartment are housed all the elements that throw the liquid for the washing and rinsing operations.
To best understand this specification, two sheets of drawing are attached in which, only for example purpose and not limitative, is shown a practical embodiment case of a machine of the general characteristics above. In said drawings: Fig. 1 is a front elevation view, partly sectioned, of a machine according to the invention.
Fig. 2 corresponds to a ground plan sectioned by the line II-II of above figure; Fig. 3 shows said machine in side elevation and also partly sectioned; Fig. 4 is a ground plan of above figure; Fig. 5 shows the liquid distribution duct toward one of the sprayers of this same machine; Fig. 6 shows details of the constitution of one of the several nozzles that throw the liquid under pressure; Fig. 7 is the view of one of the end bends for oblique performance spraying nozzles.
Fig. 8 is a detail in an exploded drawing of said machine pump; and Fig. 9 shows the motor pump assembly.
The object of this application is constituted by a parallelepipedal box (1), with a front opening (2), provided with the gate (3), hinged in the lower edge of said opening (2).
At the higher part, and arranged in an inclined panel, there is some pilot lamps (4), a driving button for starting the machine (5) and another one for programming (6).
The inside of this box (1) is divided into two compartments by an horizontal wall (7), of which the lower or smaller (8) is occupied by a boiler (9), an electrovalve (10), that connects said boiler (9) to the inlet (11), a doser (12) for the rinsing product, a motor pump (13) and the draining bend (14).
In the higher or larger compartment (15) there appears a duct communicated with the boiler (9) and divided into two lengths (16) and (17), the first one connected to a tubular central column (17*) provided with an horizontal rotary spraying tube (18), with throwing nozzles (19) directed upwardly. Said tube (18) is arranged in such a way that it acts as a water-current ¢911636 meter. The remaining duct (17) is linked to other tubes (20), also provided with throwing or spraying nozzles (19), which are, in this case, fixed and are located near the compartment ceiling (15), with their mentioned nozzles (19) directed downwardly (Fig. 3 and 4).
Inside the higher compartment (15) there is a filter or passage grid (21), an overflow tube (22) and a back distributor duct (23), communicated with some tubes laid parallel (24), supporting several throwing or spraying nozzles (25) of the type visible in detail in Fig. 6. Said tubes (24) are ended in ends obliquely directed (26) (Fig. 3) in order that their related nozzles (25) deliver the liquid under pressure toward the center of the compartment, where are located the pieces to wash.
Considering Fig. 2 it can be seen that the tubes (24) start from the distributor located in the back area of the machine and lay parallel to each other and under the water-current meter (18) and are running toward the front face of the box (1), near whose wall come the ends provided with mentioned inclined nozzles.
The middle wall or bottom (7) constitutes a basin that act as liquid collector, on which there is an heating electric resistor (27).
Inside the box (1) and not visible in the drawing, are mounted following devices: a pressostat with its remote sensible element and in contact with the liquid contained in the basin delimited by the bottom (7); a programmer to execute all the operations natural for this machine; some thermostats connected to the general circuit, this latter possessing a distribution grid, where arrive the conductors of the push-buttons and pilots group (4-5-6) and the rest of the feeding equipment.
The gate (3) is hinged up to the middle of said machine (1), it is provided with guides or rails (28), aligned with other internal ones (29) for the basket (3) sliding, in the two senses, inside said basket are placed the pieces to wash (31) (glasses and similar). The liquid impelling means is formed, as stated above, by a motor combined with a pump (13'), coupled to the former to constitute the motor pump assembly (13) (Fig. 8 and 9).
The spraying nozzles (25) installed at the lower part of the machine deserve a special attention. Said nozzles are composed (Fig. 6) of a bushing (32), with double external thread and with a faceted crown (33), and there appears inside a middle wall (34) provided with two small windows (35) and a small central hole (36), the former showing two biased edges, those of one window opposite to those of the contiguous one. The bushing is completed by a threaded capsule (37), with a central hole (38) of a larger diameter than the above mentioned (36).
This arrangement allows that the liquid that goes out through said nozzle sustains, at its forced passage through the internal hole (36) and because of the helicoidal turbulence of the rest of the liquid crossing the small windows, a throttling that produces a decrease of the spout section with an increase of its power, which preserves up to a great distance its eveness, without expanding, thus the projection reaches the bottom of the glasses and provokes in it an effective washing action.
As for the machine general operation it suffices to only state that its starting with the push-button (5) determines the motor pump (13) operation, which is signalled by related pilot lamps of the three (4) this machine possesses. The water from the system comes in through (11) and goes to the boiler (9), where it is heated and it goes out from there through the ducts (16) and (17), the first one delivering the water to the rotary tube or lower water-current meter (18), which moves independently and throws with force the water upwardly through its nozzles (19), at same time that from the higher part water is injected downwardly from the nozzles (19) of the higher tubes (20), fed by (17) .
The liquid so thrown falls down the bottom (7) and from this moment the pieces (glasses or similar (31)) are introduced into the machine. The maximum level the liquid reaches in the basin determined by the bottom or wall (7) is settled by the overflow (22). When said liquid achieves the temperature set (provided by the submerged resistor (37)), another of the pilots (4) lights, the gate (3) opens and the cleaning solution required is poured by hand inside the machine. Once the pieces placed in the basket (30) this latter is introduced with its load and the machine begins to operate, thus the motor pump (13) sucks away through the filter (21) the water and the cleaning solution of the basin (7) and sends it to the water-current meter (18) , to the higher ducts (20) and, through the back distributor (23), to the tubes (24), the liquid under pressure that acts effectively on the pieces to wash going out so through the nozzles (19) and (25). The nozzles (25) located at the ends (26) direct obliquely the upward spouts. While the nozzles (19) spread the liquid, the (25) are of a compact spout, reaching powerfully the farthest points of the glasses and the rest.
Once the washing with water and cleaning solution is over, the sending to the tubes (25) is stopped and the water-current meter (18) and higher ducts(20) are again started, they suck away the rinsing product that from the tank (12) passes to those tubes. With this operation the process is over. The washing water is drained through the drain (14).
It must be pointed out that mentioned phases depend on the related program and the process is carried out with the performance of all the remaining conventional elements that were not disclosed and whose action is deducted by the above stated.
Will be independent of the object of the invention the materials, shapes and dimensions of all the components of a dishwasher machine for pieces of small sizes according to the disclosed, provided that the variations to introduce do not affect its essentiality.
