Abstract

The measuring device constitutes the cap of the bottle and comprises two compartments A and B, the compartment A being filled when inverting the bottle so as to measure the amount of liquid which is emptied into the compartment B when the bottle is put back into a normal position so as to provide a reserve measured amount of liquid. An orifice 10 for discharging air when filling the compartment A is so arranged as to constitute an overflow for the compartment B when the bottle is put back into its normal position. The compartment B in this way perfects the measurement of the amount of liquid. The measuring device may be manufactured simply and cheaply, in particular by moulding a plastics material in two elements which can be assembled along the connection plane between the compartments A and B. <IMAGE> [GB2145061A]
