Abstract

The following are claimed- (a) a process for promoting the metabolic and reproductive activity of microbes by adding Co in polarised from to the microbial environment; (b) a process for promoting plant growth by applying Co in polarised form to the surface of the plant; (c) animal feed additives comprising a solid or liq. feed material and Co in polarised form; (d) a process for promoting the growth of animals by adding Co in polarised form to their feed. 'Polarised' Co, i.e. Co cpds. that have been passed through a magnetic field, is more effective than unpolarised Co. [FR2379604A1]
