Technical Field
The present invention relates to a device formed by two permanently joined parts, and its use in the cosmetic field, in order to prevent skin sagging and to smooth out wrinkles on the skin, while rejuvenating and restoring radiance to the face and other parts of the body.
Background
Apparatuses for facial cosmetic treatments are known in the art, such as the device described in document ES1023162U, comprising a hollow treatment head filled with cold accumulating liquid and a handle having a retaining element fitted into said treatment head; or the device described in document ES1023163U, with a grip or handle containing an electric vibrator for the vibratory or eccentric adjustment of a treatment head, which may eventually be replaced, and to which in particular an adjustable electric heating device is connected.
Document DE7405C1 relates to a tuning fork (mechanical tuning fork) with two prongs (tine), which can be assembled with adjustable screws or screw-adjustable clamps. Likewise, the document US2888582A relates to a tuning fork with more than two prongs, in particular three or four, some of which may be shorter in order to produce a higher tone.
Patent US4427001 describes an apparatus for facial treatment comprising a spoon-shaped bowl for massaging the face, connected to a transformer for heating the bowl surface, the wiring of which is connected to a control switch on the handle and to a power supply, while the rear side of the device comprises a reservoir for oil or skin cream, from which the oil or skin cream can be dispensed as required, and a sponge onto which the oil or skin cream is dispensed.
There are several documents (FR1182894 and US4550718) describing a facial massage device constituted by a cradle formed by a handle connected to a massage plate housing one or more massage balls rotating on the face, so as to provide a massage.
Document US5746702 describes a method for providing a mechanical massage to the skin, and an ergonomic device for carrying out the method.
Patent US6679908B2 describes a facial treatment that employs a device that can cool or heat the face of the person undergoing treatment and has a slimming effect on the treated portion when applied to the body.
In document JP2000000283 the skin of a person is massaged using a device capable of vibrating, rotating or both.
Document US20080058915a1 describes a film in the form of a face mask, which is used in the cosmetic and health field. It relates to "acupuncture" or acupuncture points, which stimulate nerves or muscles by transcutaneous stimulation using electrical means, in particular using electrodes.
Document US2004143200a1 describes a therapeutic tuning fork for massage or acupressure, having two prongs as tuning forks made of the same material, connected to a handle or grip, but it is covered with a material that makes it easy to grip, preferably rubber or wood, to the end of which a part is connected that may vary, so that it will come into contact with the patient, made of a suitable material, such as metal, plastic, rubber, wood or a material of similar nature, preferably covered by a piece of fabric in the contact area. The block may be attached to the handle by screws and thus may be easily removed.
Document DE19717053a1 relates to a pyramid for medical use. The sides of the pyramid are of specific dimensions varying from 1cm to 10cm, they may be identical or different, and may be 3 to 5 points, made of aluminium or an aluminium alloy. To be effective, several pyramids should be distributed over the body surface and they should be kept for a certain time (see fig. 2).
Com, on a date of 2007, 11/28, an article titled "La etera juventrud de Do (et nal youth in the key of C)" discloses the use of tuning fork on facial skin in order to restore the cellular activity of the skin, stabilize and strengthen the facial musculature, restore elasticity and prevent stress. However, there is no indication that the vibration can be transferred to the skin by using any part of the tuning fork tip.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The device, object of the present invention, is constituted by two elementary connecting parts, namely the tuning fork (tuning fork) and the stone pyramid (stone pyramid), which, when connected in a specific manner, act together to produce an unexpected effect when used as cosmetic application on the skin.
A tuning fork is a part made of elastic metal (usually steel) with a base and two U-shaped prongs. When struck, vibrate, producing a wave that is nearly inaudible depending on frequency (in order to hear the wave, it must be held close to the ear and should not be placed on the skull, or enhanced by abutting it against a wooden soundbox, such as the body of a stringed instrument). The most commonly used tuning fork is 440 (which means that it produces the a4 note at exactly 440 Hz). In water, a 440Hz tuning fork has a frequency of around 650 Hz. Due to this feature, the tuning fork is used as a frequency standard for tuning the instrument.
The tuning fork used for the device object of the present invention may be a standard 2-prong tuning fork, but it may have a plurality of prongs, for example 3 or 4.
Stone pyramids are crystal forms having a base and three, four, six, eight or twelve side surfaces that are not parallel and converge at a common apex.
Although the effect of pyramids is known in ancient egypt, the knowledge of pyramids is reproduced by the french scientist Antoine Bovis, who can reproduce mummy in animals. It is generally found that all food can be kept in the pyramids due to the fact that the pyramids act as catalysts, thereby concentrating and concentrating the energy vibrations. Since 1970, work was undertaken to investigate the effects of pyramids on human health (Rev. Cubana Med. Gen. Integr. 2003; 19 (2)).
The device targeted by this application consists of joining two parts in a specific way, so that the transmission of the vibrations through the tuning fork to the skin will be achieved by the stone pyramid, so that the tuning fork and the stone pyramid co-act, supplementing and producing unexpected effects on the skin.
The use of stone pyramids is essential for obtaining the unexpected effects of preventing skin relaxation and muscle weakening, smoothing out skin wrinkles, at the same time oxidizing the cells, thus revitalizing the skin and giving it a shiny appearance.
The use of any of the parts having a plurality of shapes used in the document US2004143200 does not produce beneficial results, such as those obtained by using a stone pyramid as a part for transferring the vibration of the tuning fork.
Disclosure of Invention
The device for preventing skin sagging and wrinkles, object of the present invention, comprises two basic parts, including a metal tuning fork and a stone pyramid.
Another object of the invention is the arrangement of these two main parts of the device, in order to obtain the desired effect, which takes the form of the base of the tuning fork being arranged in contact with the upper part or vertex of the pyramid, the base of the pyramid being applied on the skin to be treated.
Certain variations of the basic components are also part of the invention when entering the inventive step of improving the effect produced on the skin, as will be explained below.
The function of the device is based on tapping the tuning fork to generate vibrations that are transmitted through the pyramid and reach the skin.
The applicant has found that the vibration of the tuning fork by the pyramid has an effect on the skin condition to be treated, improving the blood circulation and therefore the oxidation of the cells, while repairing the muscles, thus having a passive fitness effect.
As a result, it is possible to obtain a cosmetic treatment on the skin without the use of electric current, heat or cold, or vibrations generated by electric motors, or chemical compounds, thus preventing any indirect effects that these processes may cause.
The device should not be applied when there is any skin infection, such as herpes, viruses or bacteria, or dental problems, nor in the case of skin or jaw cancer. In contrast, it can be applied in the case of eczema or psoriasis, assuming no infection or suppuration.
Materials and dimensions
The device works better if the tuning fork is made of steel or aluminium alloy and when the pyramid is made of any gemstone or semi-gemstone.
A preferred embodiment of the pyramid is made of a black gem, such as black tourmaline or onyx (blackcurrmaline or onyx).
The size of the device may vary, so-called standard size for domestic use, or it may be larger if the device is used professionally, for example in a beauty parlor or professional centre. In any case, what varies is the tuning fork dimensions, while the pyramids remain approximately the same dimensions. The device can be smaller in size for home use only.
The standard tuning fork in the present invention is 10cm-20cm long and 1cm-2cm wide.
Larger devices may be used professionally in a beauty parlor, ranging in size from 20cm to 30cm long and 2.5cm to 4.5cm wide. In this case it has two cylinders at the ends of the prongs which enhance and optimize the effect of the device. The diameter of the cylinder is 1.5cm-2.5 cm.
The pyramids have a square base with sides varying between 0.6cm and 1cm and a height of 0.5cm to 0.9cm, so they are small compared to tuning forks.
The tuning fork in the present invention is solid and has a bore at the free end of the base (B) for receiving the apex of the pyramid. When the pyramid is inserted in the base of the tuning fork, it is subjected to welding, preferably cold brazing, which allows the two parts of the device, object of the present invention, to be connected in a permanent manner.
Drawings
To understand how the components of the device are arranged, and the dimensions associated with each component, a series of drawings are attached hereto:
fig. 1 shows a standard U-shaped tuning fork 1 with a base (B) and two prongs (R), for example marketed.
FIGS. 2-8 are examples of the present invention:
fig. 2 shows two parts constituting the device, a tuning fork 1 and a pyramid 2 smaller than the tuning fork 1.
Fig. 3 shows the device formed when the apex of the pyramid 2 is welded to the free end of the base of the tuning fork 1.
Some variants which are part of the inventive steps of the present application are also objects of the present invention, such as:
fig. 4 shows a professional device that is larger than the standard device and that has two cylinders 3, one at each end of the prongs. In this case, the tuning fork is made of aluminium alloy and can have means to calibrate with a scale the position of the cylinder 3 with respect to the free end of the tuning fork head.
Fig. 5 is a variant of a tuning fork 1 with three prongs and a pyramid 2 connected to the perforated base of the tuning fork.
Fig. 6 is a variant consisting of two tuning forks 1 with two metal cast prongs. The manufacturing of this variant is obtained by means of two tuning forks each having two prongs, said prongs being welded substantially at the point where the base and the prongs of each tuning fork are joined, so that the resulting device has four prongs and two bases. At the free end of one of the bases, which is welded to the apex of the pyramid 2, the other base has a ball 4 at its free end.
The ball 4 in fig. 6 is small and made of a metal which may be gold, silver or steel, and in winter it is suitable to apply balls made of gold which are hotter than other types of metal. In addition, the ball may have facets to facilitate peeling of the skin.
Further, as an alternative to these variations, the two parts may be connected by an intermediate member, as shown in fig. 7.
Fig. 7 shows a hollow intermediate part 5 provided with a cylindrical or cylindrical end at one end and a pyramidal box shape at the other end, for connection to a tuning fork by its cylindrical or cylindrical end and with the pyramid by its pyramidal box end.
Fig. 8 shows this alternative form of arrangement of the positioning of tuning fork 1, intermediate part 5 and pyramid 2 after being welded.
Application method of the device for preventing skin laxity and wrinkle
For treatments designed to prevent skin sagging and smooth wrinkles, thus revitalizing the skin and making it glossy, the device is applied in a plurality of areas, starting with the area between the eyebrows and continuing to the area around the lips.
After vibrating the tuning fork, the pyramid base is placed between the eyebrows and moved over the skin, thus moving around the contour of one eye, until the sound disappears. Two or three times and each time a gradually widening circular movement until the edge of the lower jaw is reached. It then moves down from between the eyebrows to around the other eye.
After these movements, the device is placed in the center of the upper lip and moved to the right border of the lip, and then moved from the center of the lip to the left border. Finally, from left to right across the forehead.
Further, it may be applied to the needle-punching site, in which case the method includes applying the device at ten points in approximately every second.
For mature skin, it is appropriate that the base of the tuning fork is gold plated and shaped like a mushroom, thereby improving the skin's shiny effect.
Comparative example
Two tuning forks are used, one larger version according to the invention for professional use in beauty parlors, the other made of the same material and of tuning fork parts of the same dimensions, except that the pyramid is replaced by a ball of similar dimensions, connected by cold brazing.
Two tuning forks were used on a set of 4 patients for 4 weeks twice a week. Two patients received first the application of a tuning fork with a ball and then the application of a tuning fork according to the invention, the other two patients received instead first the application of a tuning fork according to the invention and then the application of a tuning fork and a ball, in all cases for 4 weeks between the different treatments.
At the end of the treatment, all female patients and the beauty specialist applying the treatment agreed to a significantly better result with the tuning fork of the invention.
