Description

Integrated storage container for personal grooming tool accessories
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a storage container, and more particularly to an integrated storage container for personal grooming tool accessories.
Background
Personal grooming tools typically have a set of attachments so that a user can use the same handle with multiple attachments. For example, curling irons (curly irons) may include a spiral attachment or a brush attachment to accommodate various curl patterns. The blower may include accessories such as a diffuser or various brush-type accessories. Furthermore, the beard trimmer may also include various attachments to allow for different trimming lengths, or to allow the user to replace a dull blade. Powered toothbrushes typically include replaceable accessories to accommodate multiple users, or to allow a user to replace the toothbrush head without discarding the entire device.
Most common personal grooming tools do not include an accessory storage container. In some cases, where the personal grooming tool is battery operated and contains a rechargeable battery, a charger for the tool may be provided at the bottom of the cradle that receives the accessory. One of the disadvantages of these stents is that they tend to be bulky and take up additional space.

The storage container utilizes minimal space and includes a housing and a lid. The housing has a cavity for storing accessories of a personal grooming tool. The cover is adapted to be mounted on the housing to enclose the chamber. The cap also includes a cavity for supporting the tool.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings and the following description to refer to the same or like parts.
Fig. 1 shows a storage container 100 for an accessory 102 of a personal grooming tool 104. In this embodiment, the tool 104 is a power toothbrush. The storage container 100 includes a housing 106 and a lid 108. The housing 106 includes a support 110 for the accessory 102 and a cavity 112 for supporting the tool 104. In this example, the support 110 is a fork that extends from the housing 106. However, one skilled in the art will recognize that the support member may also be a slot or cavity formed in the housing 106. In the example of fig. 1, the support 110 is located at a corner portion of a rectangular housing to utilize the space remaining by the substantially cylindrical cavity 112. In this way, the storage container is compact and better space utilization is possible.
A charger (not shown) may be operatively connected to the cavity 112. In this case, the cavity 112 may enable a charger (where provided) to charge a battery (not shown) within the tool 104.
The cover 108 may be placed over the housing 106 to conceal the attachment 102 and includes an aperture 114 such that when the cover 108 is placed over the housing 106, the aperture 114 overlaps the cavity 112. When the cover 108 is placed on the housing 106, the tool 104 is positioned within the cavity 112 through the aperture 114.
Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of a storage container 200 for an accessory 202 of a personal grooming tool 204. In this embodiment, the tool 204 is a beard trimmer. The storage container 200 includes a housing 206 and a lid 208. The housing 206 includes a chamber 210 that houses the accessory 202. The cover 208 includes a cavity 212 and a charger (not shown) may be operably connected to the cavity 212. The cavity 212 is used to support the tool 204 and to allow a charger (if provided) to charge a battery (not shown) within the tool 204. A cover 208 may be placed over the housing 206 to enclose the chamber 210 and the concealment attachment 202. In this example, the appendage 202 is made to fit closely with the chamber 210. In particular, the chamber 210 is shaped to conform to the shape of the accessory 202 such that the accessory 202 fits snugly within the chamber 210, as shown in FIG. 2A. Moreover, the outer boundary of the housing 206 extends slightly beyond the chamber 210 to minimize the space utilized by the container 200.
Fig. 3 illustrates another embodiment of a storage container 300 for an accessory 302 of a personal grooming tool 304. In this embodiment, the tool 304 is a curling iron. The storage container 300 includes a housing 306 and a lid 308. The housing 306 includes a chamber 310 that houses the accessory 302. A wire 312 (fig. 4) is connected to the tool 304. The cover 308 includes a cavity 314 for supporting the tool 304, as shown in FIG. 3. The cavity 314 has holes (not shown) to allow wires 312 on the tool 304 to extend through the cover 308. A cover 308 may be placed over the housing 306 to conceal the accessories 302 and the electrical wires 312 within the cavity 310 of the housing 306. As shown in fig. 4, the cover 308 also includes a notch 316 near the cavity 314. The notch 316 is used to support the accessory 302 on the tool 304 to prevent the accessory 302 from burning the surface when the accessory 302 is heated.
Fig. 5 shows another embodiment of a storage container 500 for an accessory 502 of a personal grooming tool 504. In this embodiment, the tool 504 is a blower. As shown in fig. 5, the tool 504 is folded between two parts of the tool 504, in particular a handle 504a and a head 504b, for storage.
Similar to curling irons, the storage container 500 includes a housing 506 and a cover 508. The housing 506 includes a chamber 510 to house the accessory 502 and electrical wires (not shown) connected to the handle 504a of the tool 504. The cover 508 includes two cavities 512 and 514 for supporting the handle 504a and head 504b, respectively, of the tool 504. The cavity 512 supporting the handle 504a also contains holes (not shown) to allow wires on the tool 504 to extend through the cover 508. A cover 508 may be placed over the housing 506 to conceal the accessories 502 and electrical wires within a cavity 510 of the housing 506.
Although the storage container is shown as a particular shape, i.e., rectangular, one skilled in the art will recognize that the storage container of the present invention may be of various shapes, including cylindrical, triangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, etc. Therefore, the storage container according to the present invention is not limited to those used in the embodiments of the present invention.
While various embodiments of the invention have been described, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that many more embodiments are possible that are within the scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be restricted except in light of the attached claims and their equivalents.
