Abstract

ωOne method for desalination of an aqueous electrolyte solution is to supply an aqueous solution to an ascending chamber (5) and apply an electric current to the ascent (9) and descent (18). At the same time, electrolysis in the ascending chamber (5) produces an acidic solution, which is injected into a dilution chamber (7) and a catarrhal chamber (8). Salt and acid ions are selectively transported via membranes (2), (3), (4), which results in the desalination of aqueous solution. The concentrate is excreted from the chamber (6) and the desalinated solution is excreted from the chamber (8). An electric swing device includes a housing (1) with a tube (13) to supply a water solution in the chamber (5) and a tube (21) installed in the chamber (8) to expel the unsalted aqueous solution. Casing (1) encloses the membranes (2), (3), (4) which form an upward chamber (5), at least one pair (22) of chambers and the downward chamber (8). The pair (22) of chambers includes a condensing chamber (6) and the dilution chamber (7). There is a channel in condensing chambers (6). One (17) is opened in the membrane (4). ω
