Abstract
The disarming machine comprises a device for the resonance of the ammunition, in which the disarming of the ammunition takes place, a device for the separation of the derived metal mass of the ammunition from the emulsion, a device for the collection of the derived metal mass, a device for washing the derived mass, a closed circuit for the emulsion supply, and a tank for the collection of the inactivated explosive material. In particular, the resonance device has in its interior a double drum consisting of two vibrating members, which members have along their length articulated resonance elements. The resonance elements cause by their oscillation the fragmentation of the metal parts of the ammunition. The machine is used for the quick and safe disarming of ammunition with brass case, without any pre-treatment thereof. The disarming machine can separate the derived metal mass from the explosive material contained in the ammunition, after previous disarming of the ammunition.
