Abstract

The invention relates to innovative solid pharmaceutical forms of ticagrelor, which are advantageous over the state of the art in the following points: All doses of the drug are produced following the same linear pharmaceutical composition. They can incorporate active substance characterized by a wide range of particle sizes not varying their pharmaceutical characteristics so that they can present considerable flexibility and optimal cost-effectiveness. In particular, they can incorporate coarse grains active substances not disturbing their in-vivo behavior what implies significant advantages in production processes. They can incorporate different active substance polymorphs not varying the bioavailability of the drug. They are produced through a simple production process where the final form is in the form of tablets, preferably coated tablets. They show optimal stability, satisfactory mechanical strength and flexibility of use.
