Abstract
Novelty: a natural liquid antioxidant preparation derived from oil press-borne vegetable water is disclosed. Preparation method: use of the following techniques: centrifugation, microfiltration, reverse osmosis, separation via selective macroporous resins, and vacuum condensation. Main features: complete natural and vegetable composition of the product, high antioxidant capability and high content in polyphenols. Embodiments: the invention finds application as raw material in pharmaceutical preparations, as enhancer in food supplements, and as natural antioxidant impeding the oxidising rancidity of fats contained in simple and bioactive foodstuff.
