Abstract

An equipment for pressing out olives consisitng of : a pair of wormscrew belts moving in parallel, which on one end are fed with the fresh paste and lay it uniformly between them and on the other end they simultaneously reject the olive kernel of the previous compression cycle; a perforated plate located under the belts; and a compression mechanism with hydraulic cylinders and a metallic compression plate moving vertically downwards.
