[Also in Divisions B5 and B8] In a labelling machine (Division B8) the adhesive applicator 74 melts a strip of adhesive 76 in the form of a rope or cord fed from a reel 75, and ejects it from a nozzle 50, in liquid form, on to the edge of a label strip.
