Abstract

Organic isocyanates are stabilized by the presence of a tertiary ester of phosphorous or thiophosphorous acid with an aliphatic, araliphatic or cycloaliphatic alcohol (mono- or polyhydric); a phenolic antioxidant may also be present. Numerous isocyanates, phosphites, thiophosphites and phenols are specified.
