An adjustable pallet rack has upright posts A, B connected by cross-members 10, 11, 12 and supporting horizontal rails 13-20, each post being formed as a partially closed channel-section with legs 21, 21 joined by webs 23, 24 and a medial channel 25, the portions 23, 24 having slots 26, 27 and the channel 25 having slots 28. The rails have connecting brackets 29, 30 welded to their ends, the brackets having teeth 37a, 38a, 39a which engage slots 28 and lugs 33, 34, 35 which engage slots 26, 27.
