936,540. Upholstery. SLUMBERLAND GROUP Ltd. Aug. 9, 1962 [Aug. 10, 1961], No. 28872/61. Class 52 (4). A seat includes a number of foamed rubber or plastic units 10, 21, 25 assembled as desired, each unit incorporating a vertical spring 14. The springs 14, which are shorter than the units, surround openings 13 therethrough. Openings 17 formed between assembled units may contain further units. A pad 26 of foamed rubber or plastic is secured by adhesive to the top of the assembled units, preferably with a spring steel frame 27 interposed.
