Abstract
926,177. Alternators. KOMPLEX NAGYBERENDEZESEK EXPORT-IMPORT VALLALATA. July 6, 1959 [July 18, 1958], No. 23201/59. Class 35. In a turbo-alternator oil-cooled stator having a laminated stator core 10 provided with a rotorreceiving axial bore 11 limited radially by a tube 12 coaxially arranged in the bore and supported by stator core casing end covers 16a, 16b which define, with the tube, chambers which house stator winding end portions 14a, 14b, the remaining space within the chambers is filled or substantially so by solid electrically insulating bodies 17a, 17b, 18a, 18b which define cooling oil flow paths. The bodies minimize the amount of oil, natural or synthetic, present in the chambers, and, as shown, the stator has two independent cooling systems, one fed through passages 13 in paper-insulated winding conductors 14 by tube ends 23a, 23b and annular chambers 19a, 19b, and the other fed through core channels 22, 24 by tube ends 27, 28 and collecting chambers 25, 26.
