910,907. Stands for hand irons. SIMPLUS PRODUCTS Ltd., and HASSID, M. A. Sept. 6, 1961 [Sept. 15, 1960], No. 31784/60. Class 138 (2). A hand iron support has means for supporting the sole plate of the iron at its side edges only and means for supporting the iron at a point lying rearwardly of the sole plate. As shown, the support comprises a rod 1 shaped to provide side portions 6 joined by a curved rear portion 7, and two legs 2 which are slidable beneath an ironing board 4. The iron makes point contact with the portion 7 and with portions 5 joining the portions 2, 6.
