917,050. Separating solid materials. CLAAS, H. Feb. 27, 1961 [Aug. 1, 1960], No. 7073/61. Class 117. [Also in Group I] An air pressure winnowing device comprises an oscillating grill 2 beneath which are disposed air distribution tubes 8 connected to fans 3, which are fixed in the frame of a harvester, by a tube 7 secured to the frame of the grill and a flexible coupling 6. Adjustable flaps 13 control the outlet nozzles 9 of the tubes 8 and guideplates 14 are incorporated in the nozzles. In a modification the fans are secured to the tubes 7.
