903,551. Emergency exits. AUSTER Ltd., and SMALL, W. W. April 10, 1961 [April 21, 1960], No. 13933/60. Class 108(1) An emergency exit which may be window 2 is hinged along its upper edge by means of hinges 5 and has its lower edge secured in position by two claw like members 8 which are rotatably mounted on the lower part of the frame 4 and engage resilient members 10 secured to the vehicle body. The claw like members 8 are rotated free of the retaining members by means of a push plate 25 or by the push bars 26 the push plate 25 being connected by means of a bolt to an exterior handle so that the panel may be opened from the exterior of the vehicle.
