Abstract

899,865. Vehicle bodies. EDGE, H. F. Nov. 28, 1960 [Dec. 15, 1959], No. 42615/59. Class 108(1). A caravan body has the roof 15 and the end walls 16 moulded integrally from reinforced plastic material and the panels are transversely reeded as at 18. The side walls 17 are similarly reeded and at the side edges the reeds 18 terminate in bevelled portions 19 which merge into plane flanges for attachment purposes. Similar plane flanges are provided around doors, door and window openings. The outer panels are preferably lined with metal foil and lining panels are secured to the valleys between the reeds.
