A hinge comprises a plate 4, for fixing to a window. which is provided with a sleeve 6 at each end which rotatably mounts a pin 7, one pin being secured to a lug 8 slidable in a channel 10, for fixing to a window frame, and the other pin being secured to a stay 9 pivoted at its other end to the channel 10.
