888,558. Tractor load-handling attachments. PORSCHE, F. A. E. Nov. 23, 1960 [Dec. 24, 1959], No. 40242/60. Class 78 (3). [Also in Group XXXI] A frameless tractor is provided with a forwardly-mounted power lift mechanism equipped as a loading device comprising arms 14 and 15 pivoted at 12 to castings 8 secured to the tractor sides by bolts 9. Power lift cylinders 18 are pivoted at 19 and 22 to the lift arms and mounting devices 8 respectively. The mounting devices 8 may alternatively be forgings and are provided with reinforcing ribs 8<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 3.
