Abstract

877,760. Cycle handlebars. NEALE & SONS Ltd., JAMES. April 10, 1958 [April 10, 1957], No. 11653/57. Class 136(3). [Also in Group XXXII] A rear view mirror 6 or other accessory is attached to a tubular handlebar 7 of a two wheeled vehicle by means of a cylindrical plug 8 which is axially bored at 9 for the reception of a headed clamping screw 11. A ramp 12 is formed on the end of the plug 8 and an, oblong block 13 having a tapered surface 14 engages the ramp 12 and is bored at 15 to receive the screw 11. Detachable packing plates 22, 23 are provided.
