Abstract
A surgical pad, primarily for use on the foot, comprises two thin, film-like cover-sheets, a layer of cushioning material between the coversheets, a seam securing all the sheets together adjacent to the boundary edge of the pad, and a flexible attachment loop with its ends held by the said seam. Preferably the materials used are thermoplastic and the whole pad is completed by a single heat sealing and severing operation, by placing the various layers and the loop in position between suitably shaped dies.
