[Also in Group XVII] A device for heat sealing overlapping edges of plastic sheet material having a sealing temperature of less than 212‹ F. comprises a foam rubber or plastic covered roller 14 continuously rotating in a bath 8 of heated water. The overlapping edges of the sheet 3 surrounding a product 2 to be packaged (see Group XVII) are drawn along the roller.
