865,060. Foot rasps. SARDAL, P. W. F. March 27, 1958, No. 9881/58. Class 81 (2). [Also in Group XXIII] A foot rasp comprises a handle 1 having at one end a dovetailed groove 3 in which a rasp-piece 2 of arcuate crosssection is retained by one end of a flat spring 4 having at least one tooth 6a, 6b which engages a corresponding hole 5a, 5b in the rasp-piece. The handle 1 of synthetic plastic has the groove 3 at one end. The rasp 2 of arcuate crosssection and made of springy material is slid into the groove 3 which narrows towards its inner end so that the rasp becomes more bowed at its inner end. When in position the inner end of the rasp 2 lies over one end of the flat spring 4 which has lateral teeth 6a, 6b. The other end of the spring 4 has a tooth which fits in a slot in the handle. The spring 4 is bent outwardly between its ends, over a bridge at the inner end of the groove 3, so that it bears against the rasp 2 securing it in position.
