834,249. Vitreous enamelling of metal objects. ELM WORKS Ltd., and BYNG, R. E. Oct. 3, 1957 [July 12, 1956], No. 21615/56. Class 56. In the vitreous enamelling of metal objects, particularly tubes or extruded sections, the enamel is fired by heat-treating the coated article by electro-magnetic induction. For this purpose the coated article 13, supported on positively-driven double conical rollers 12, is passed through an induction coil 20. The vitrified enamel has solidified before it reaches the final rollers so that they do not mark the article.
