Abstract

Hydrogen peroxide, which has been produced in a process involving alternate oxidation and reduction of an organic compound, is purified by contacting the aqueous extract containing H2O2 with finely-divided charcoal, magnesium oxide or freshly precipitated hydroxides of magnesium or aluminium.
