Abstract
815,007. Infants' seats. HARTELL, N. Jan. 20, 1958 [Oct. 18, 1956], No. 31773/56. Class 52(2) An infant's seat for attachment to a chair, car seat, perambulator wall &c. has a frame comprising side members 1, 2 joined to or integral with a foot rest 3 and a rear tubular member 4 in which slide hook members 20 which engage the sides of the chair upon which the seat is supported and are connected by a spring 21. A second frame of members 5, 6, 7 is pivotally attached to members 1, 2 at 8 and is located relative to members 1, 2 by tie bars 11, the ends 12 of which are a spring fit into apertures in members 5, 6. Hook members 19 are located on bar 7 by loops 18 and a seat 9, supported at 8 and by a cross bar 13 connecting tie bars 11 is connected by a flexible hinge 14 to a backrest 15 having a tongue 16 and press stud 17 to secure it to bar 7. Disengagement of tongue 16 and tie bars 11, allows the assembly to be folded flat.
