Abstract

814,125. Balloon control arrangements. TWEEDALES & SMALLEY (1920) Ltd. June 25, 1956 [June 24, 1955], No. 18333/55. Drawings to Specification. Class 120(2) A balloon control ring for textile spinning &c. machines is so shaped that on a radial cross section of the ring, the control surface is a straight line and is inclined to the vertical. so that the upper end of this surface is smaller in diameter than the lower end. Such a ring may be used in conjunction with a second ring having a control surface which on a radial cross-section of the ring is a vertical straight line and the ring may be positioned as indicated in Specification 757,313. An inclined slot may be provided in the ring to facilitate threading-up. Specification 759,068 also is referred to.
