A flexible shoot connecting spout a to spout d comprises flexible sleeve i, a flexible inverted-U-shaped ring c, a rigid ring j, and spring ring n, to form a sealing joint with spout a. Likewise, sleeve i forms a sealing joint with spout d, ring o of the sleeve engaging in groove d<SP>1</SP> of the spout and additional sealing being provided by skirt p. Spout d is provided with inspection door e. Specfiications 777,178 and 792,256, [both in Group XXVIII], are referred to.
