799,019. Combs; handles. JARRETT, RAINSFORD & LAUGHTON, Ltd., and LAUGHTON, G. A. Aug. 17, 1956 [Aug. 27, 1955], No. 24677/55. Classes 30 and 131 A toilet article such as a comb 1 is hinged at 3 to one end of a sheath-like cover 2, which forms a handle when the comb &c. is ejected for use, the comb being moved partly out of the cover by a trip-bar 10 pivoted at 8 and actuated by movement of a part of the bar which projects from the cover. The trip-bar is part of a bell crank lever and has a latch part 12 formed with an upturned tip 13 projecting from the cover for engagement by the finger to raise the trip-bar to an extent limited by a stop 15 and partially eject the comb. In modifications the bell crank lever has finger-piece projecting through a slot in the cover or the trip device has a snap action fully ejecting the comb.
