A hand truck comprises a U - shaped frame a having a base portion a<SP>1</SP> and handles or feet a<SP>2</SP>, a crossmember b welded to the frame a and supporting the wheels, and a U-shaped frame d having open end members d<SP>1</SP> attached to the member band a closed end d<SP>2</SP> forming an alternative handle. The frames are welded together at e and brackets f and h pivotally support containers g and k.
