Class 26 In a bath for infirm persons provided with a platform 3 which may be raised or lowered under control of the occupant, the platform is supported by pistons 4 extending from cylinders 6 under the bath and opening thereinto. The con- - trol means may comprise a switch 9 operating an electric motor-compressor 8 as shown, in which case the switch also operates release valves for the cylinders, or may be in the form of a hand pump.
