Abstract

699,320. Tip buckets. BONZOM, [nee MERLET], L. M. L. J. Sept. 13, 1951.' No. 21568/51. Class 78 (iv). A container having a neck has lateral swivel pins below the centre of gravity of the loaded container and offset laterally to the vertical line passing through the centre of gravity. As shown in Fig. 1, a container has eight sides 2 on a reinforced base, a neck 5 and a pourer on a base 22 with a slidable top opening. The container has side swivel pins or shafts projecting from either side or a central aperture through which a tube 21 may pass through the container below and offset from the centre of gravity so that when the container is suspended by its lateral projections it pivots to discharge under gravity. The container has an adjustable air hole and a handle 6 on either side. The pourer may be replaced by a lid hooked to a member which is bolted to secure.
